I am a graphic designer and illustrator based in the U.K. and specialising in digital illustration. I have experience with designing for print and web and I am also proficient in traditional media, including pencil, graphic marker, watercolour and oils. My personal aesthetic is inspired by the decorative arts, specifically the rococo, baroque, art nouveau and art deco movements, and features decorative motifs and hand-drawn graphic elements. My main influences include classical art, childrens illustration, animation, video games, comics and movies.

Experience
I'm fully proficient with Adobe Photoshop and have several years of experience in using programs such as InDesign, Dreamweaver and Illustrator. I have knowledge of HTML and CSS programming and am also able to work in both Mac and Windows environments.I have amassed over 8 years of experience in digital and traditional illustration, have a good understanding of practical art theory and am able to visualise and develop ideas well.
Since 2002 I have taken on various freelance work, primarily for private individuals, including web design, logo design and childrens illustration. I have also worked in various part-time retail jobs which have helped me develop a sense of responsibility and a good ability to interact with others and work as part of a team confidently and efficiently.
